I think most overthink this - I probably did too. I have a small wrist at 175mm - not as small as some, but not large. For me fits comfortably and looks just fine. My wife has a very tiny writs at 150mm and tried it on - she now wants the Ultra too (battery, screen, etc.). Looks good on her. If you like it - great, if not no problem.

If The skin gets a little red in a certain area as well as a little itchy. The sports loop doesn’t get that way. LOVE LOVE LOVE the bigger size. Just got my AppleWatch5 44mm aluminum. This is the band that came with it--silicone. Used the small/med option of the two provided. This is a very comfortable fit and visually I can see everything well, and am happy for the extra battery life. My wrists are 144mm around, or 5.5".

One reservation is the size recommendation for the smaller one tops at at 200 mm and I am wondering if it may be physically too small for me.I not thinking of display size or the look of it but will I be limited to what bands I could use or will they be too tight. I have a 160mm wrist and got the small which is right on the edge. I still have 8 or so loops left to make it larger. The only difficulty you might face is getting larger hands through the loop to put it on but if you'r in between definitely size down versus up. I have a 155mm wrist and I .
